Steve Prentice is a novelist whose work is shaped by more than thirty years spent working with vulnerable populations. He holds a bachelor’s degree in sociology and a master’s degree in social work. He is the author of two previous novels, Seventh Generation and Twisted Fugue. His current work,
DYAMI (release date pending), follows a young
Shoshone boy’s forced removal into the Indian boarding school system, and was inspired by his own family’s encounter with the ongoing erasure of Native American boarding school history. In his spare time, Steve creates visual art and photography. He lives in the green mountains of Vermont with his partner and their four cats.
